How does interior ceramic coatings work?
Ceramic interior coatings protect all interior surfaces, such as plastics, fabric seats, carpets, leather, and vinyl. Spills and stains clean up easily and quickly. Interior ceramic coatings help protect these surfaces by creating a hydrophobic sacrificial layer forming a coating capable of preventing dirt buildup, water damage, and UV damage.
Vacuuming and scrubbing down your car's interior is inconvenient and backbreaking. Interior coatings offer a significant advantage in terms of cleaning and upkeep. Similar to ceramic paint coatings, they can be likened to the non-stick coating of a frying pan, which makes it simpler to clean up after cooking. By applying a protective layer, interior coatings can simplify cleaning and make maintenance hassle-free.
Once the interior surface has been thoroughly cleaned and prepared, it provides a suitable surface for the coatings to adhere to. After application, the coatings are gently buffed to remove any excess material, leaving behind a ceramic layer. This layer is then given 24 hours to cure completely, ensuring optimal protection.
